OUR HISTORY
“We are the third generation of lovers of wood, furniture and cooking”
Our founder, Mr. Antonio Jimenez, a carpenter by profession, emigrated from Jaen to Barcelona after the Spanish Civil War and established his first carpentry workshop in the humble neighborhood of Carmelo. He dedicated his entire life to this trade, transmitting his knowledge not only to his children and workers, but also to to socially disadvantaged people. His work was recognized by the foundation that bears his name "Antonio Jimenez", carpentry school.
In 1989, his son, Javier Jiménez, set up the first kitchen furniture factory, Rustic llar. in the Penedés area, and for 30 years has been dedicated to following and implementing trends in both design and materials to adapt them to the needs and tastes of today's customers with the most modern machinery and technology without losing the inherited handcrafted touch. In 2003, it managed to obtain the ISO 9001/2008 quality certificate, which led us to comply with the highest quality standards.
Currently, his daughter continues the family legacy, being responsible for the marketing and design area with the aim of continuing to face the challenges in the sector and offering the best solutions in design and functionality for all its clients.
